Video Mograph Producer
A UCLA grad in Communications Studies, Kristin cut her creative teeth at Motown and MCA Records, writing and producing award-winning campaigns for their iconic artists and soundtracks. After a few years, Kristin departed the hallowed halls of MCA to expand her repertoire industry-wide, eventually co-founding Evil Twin Productions with Harri Mark.
In addition to a 24/7 roster of label-commissioned gigs, Kristin dipped her musical toes into film and television promotion, leading her team to create for Miramax, Fox Searchlight, and Universal Pictures among others, assembling an impressive collection of Promax, Telly and BDA Awards along the way.
Kristin then Co-Directed and Produced the award-winning, critically acclaimed feature documentary Barbershop Punk with Georgia Archer. Starring Janeane Garofalo, Henry Rollins and Ian McKaye, the film garnered a number of accolades including a coveted New York Times Critics’ Pick. Distributed by Gravitas Ventures, the little doc that could is now available on Hulu, iTunes, and Netflix.
Kristin soon was leading an award-winning mograph and broadcast design team, creating an array of graphic packages for the Disney Channel family of networks as well as Main Titles for the ABC Family/Freeform series’ The Nine Lives of Chloe King, Beverly Hills Nannies and the long running Baby Daddy. Evil Twin also had the honor of creating titles for indie films Hacia La Oscuridad and Barbershop Punk.
Kristin then secured the video production and editorial for Microsoft’s “Gig Of A Lifetime” spots, airing nationally on the Grammy Awards as part of the Microsoft ‘Surfacing New Talent’ campaign. Next up, Kristin and her team wrote, directed and produced a trio of PSAs for ABC’s “Be Inspired” Campaign featuring a myriad of the network’s biggest stars.
More branded content followed with Kristin producing episodes for global giant Starcom/MediaVest and their CoverGirl UnderCover digital campaign featuring Covergirl spokespersons Erin Andrews and Becky G, further showcasing Evil Twin’s creative, production, mograph/animation and editorial talents. During this time, Kristin also jumped in to co-produce season 2 of the indie digital series The Mop & Lucky Files with Monku Power.
In 2016, Kristin designed and produced a collection of artist videos for UMG CEO Lucien Grange’s annual Grammy Showcase. Then came a commission to direct and produce a 4k video series promoting the Hi-Res Audio Initiative featuring Grammy Award winning engineers, major music CEOs, Producers and Recording Artists— all part of an ongoing, industry-wide campaign to tour the convention/festival circuit of CES, SxSW, Midem, IFA Berlin, Cedia Expo and beyond and ultimately launch b2c campaign in 2018.
