ZR Hybrid Screen Mk2 | An Evolution

Increasing demands for transportable ADR, live rooms and production stage acoustics gave rise to the ZR Hybrid Screens, based on DHDI’s Hybrid Technology. ZR Micro Screens’ big brother was born with more than twice the resolution, twice the performance, twice the isolation, same 1.5″ Ultra-Thin profile and 4″ wider. Without sacrificing even one Iota of performance, Everyone wanted a lighter, easy to handle Hybrid Screen. Thus came a re-Design of the popular Hybrid Screen, resulting in the ZR Hybrid Ultra-Light Screen. All the benefits, just less calories. ZR Screens are available in three styles for quick easy setup within increasingly diverse, complex environments. All of which require fast, easy setup and teardown, with simple packaging. In this age of mobile acoustics, everything, acoustics goes on the road like a guitar.

Classic Mk5 | The Original ZR Screen format with grommets at the “top” edge of the screen for easy hanging anywhere: C-stands, pipe and drape systems, batons, trusses, walls; anywhere convenient and effective.

Hollywood Mk1 | Ringed with grommets on all 4 edges, Hollywood Screens simply and quickly tie into an aluminum gaffer frame or photographers frame for easy multi-directional use. This increased agility make ZR Hollywood Screens more adaptable and more effective.

Ninja Mk2 | Next generation Ninja Screens have multiple sets of additional grommets on their non-acoustical backside to aid when ZR Screens are suspended at more than 15 degree angle or perfectly horizontal. The ninja grommets support the middle of the screen, helping to keep the screen as flat as possible, improving sight lines and acoustic performance. Popular on production sets, music mastering studios and live concerts.
